Overview

As part of its follow-up and review mechanisms, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development encourages member states to conduct regular and inclusive reviews of progress at the national level. These national reviews are then presented at the High Level Political Forum (HLPF) in July.

This year, 14 European countries decide to present their Voluntary National Review (VNR) at the HLPF. The countries are: Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain and Switzerland.

The national reviews leading to the presentation of the VNRs must be state-led and involve multiple stakeholders, including persons with disabilities.

Audience

EDF invites European organisations of persons with disabilities (DPOs/OPDs) as well as other stakeholders interesting by the topic to join us. Representative of DPOs/OPDs from Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain and Switzerland are particularly encouraged to participate.
