Americas, Assistive Technology, News, August 28 2017
The Ontario Ministry of Research, Innovation and Science is hosting an Accessibility Innovation Showcase (AIS) in Toronto, from September 25-26, 2017.
Now in its third year, the showcase provides an opportunity for Ontario-based companies and entrepreneurs to profile innovations and advances in accessibility technologies, and increase awareness for this emerging sector. This high-profile event will bring together top innovators, investors, government, the broader public sector and the public.
An official event of the Invictus Games Toronto 2017, the AIS will feature 50 interactive exhibits of made-in-Ontario assistive technologies and devices, as well as an accessibility related speaker series, along with entertainers and performers.
The showcase takes place in the Civic Ballroom at the Sheraton Centre hotel, 123 Queen St. W. Toronto. Admission is free. For more information: www.ontario.ca/AccessibilityShowcase #OntarioAIS
