Cuba to Host International Workshop on Inclusive Education

HAVANA: Cuba will host the First International High School Workshop that will be held in this capital from June 19-23, with the participation of experts from 10 countries, the organizing committee reported today.
Under the motto ‘For an Inclusive Education,’ delegates from Angola, Brazil, Uruguay, Mexico, Ecuador, Saint Lucia, Equatorial Guinea, the United States and Colombia will debate on how to make possible a quality education at this educational level.
The meeting, which will be held at the Havana Conference Center, is sponsored by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
The workshop will be a space for researchers, education experts and leaders of international authorities and organizations to share their experiences in the field.
Besides, they will taker advantage of this event to consolidate the good inclusive practices in any context, applied to the teaching-learning process development, with the objective of continuing contributing to a quality education for all.
They will deal with different topics, such as equitable, inclusive and quality education to meet the 2030 Agenda, education of adolescents.
The program also includes visits to educational centers and scientific institutions in Havana.
