Goa film screened for kids with vision disabilities

PANAJI, INDIA: In a first-of-its-kind-screening, Milind Dhaimade’s debut feature film titled Yeh Hai Mera Sunday was screened for kids with vision disabilities in Mumbai on Saturday. This took everyone by a surprise as it allowed people to experience cinema differently.

Dhaimade, who has his roots in Goa, had pitched this film to distributors at the NFDC Film Bazaar last year which was held on the sidelines of Iffi 2015. The film was shot in Divar, with scenes at Fatorda stadium and Duler stadium. It also features a local football team from Divar.

The star cast of the film, Barun Sobti, Rasika Dugal and others were present at the screening along with the producer Varun Shah.
