The Global Alliance on Accessible Technologies and Environments (GAATES) is pleased to announce the release of its Toolkit: Key Indicators of Accessibility.
Funding provided by The Delta Centre of the Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs enabled GAATES to analyze accessibility & universal design indicators that have been reported on by signatories to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN CRPD).
The toolkit enables State Parties to identify indicators that are relevant in reporting on their obligations to UNCRPD, especially Article 9 on Accessibility.
The toolkit is also intended to increase understanding of accessibility & universal design around the world.
GAATES launched the toolkit at its Global Forum on “Accessibility and Education: Challenges and Solutions” at the June 2015 8th Conference of States Parties.
The toolkit can be found in the Resources – UNCRPD section of the GAATES website or Download the TOOLKIT:UN CRPD KEY INDICATORS OF ACCESSIBILITY Download PDF
