FEMA National Preparedness Symposium 2012

FEMA will host the National Preparedness Symposium “Increasing Preparedness to Build Community Resilience” in Crystal City, Virginia; August 7 – 9, 2012. The agenda will provide a forum to collect stakeholder feedback from States, Territories, Local, Tribal governments and Whole Community partners.
The Symposium will allow for increased information sharing and provide net-working opportunities for all of our stakeholders.
In bringing these leaders together, FEMA will forge new partnerships and build upon existing relationships to exchange ideas and feedback on many topics, including:
- Presidential Policy Directive-8
- Individual and Community Preparedness
- Whole Community Best Practices
- FEMA Preparedness Grants
Sessions will include keynote addresses, workshops, facilitated breakout sessions, exhibits and networking opportunities. Registration for this event is free.
