SSW Secretary General emphasized programs for blind women to use computers

MANAMA, BAHRAIN: Supreme Council for Women’s (SCW) Secretary General Hala Al-Ansari emphasized that women’s support and empowerment programs under the supervision of the Supreme Council for Women will enable blind Bahraini women to use computers.
The project shall be implemented by the Council under the national strategic plan for Bahraini women’s renaissance.
Financing comes from the Council which stimulates the civil society organizations concerned with omen to implement the projects/plans in compliance with the directives of the Supreme Council for Women’s President Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ebrahim Al Khalifa Spouse of His Majesty the King and her support personal follow up of Bahraini women with disabilities, pointing out this kind and generous support from Her Royal Highness providing a accessible computer to blind women contributes into alleviation and merges them into university study programs.
